Required Documents for a Gift Deed
- Proof of Ownership
These documents are needed to prove the ownership of the property/asset that is to be gifted and should be in the possession of the donor. Examples include property papers, title deeds, or ownership certificates.
- Identity and Address Proof
Identity and address proofs, like an Aadhaar card and PAN card, are required to be furnished by the donor as well as by the donee. If the property was purchased through a Sale Deed, a copy of such a letter shall also be attached.
- Encumbrance Certificate

- Witnesses
